Sue Wrbican is using the MIX to challenge students to translate elements of digital photography into different forms using a range of automation tools and materials. This initiative to integrate maker tools and materials builds upon their previous photography endeavors. Using various subjects, students are learning new forms of multimedia to expand their photography practice.

MIX staff taught workshops on the sublimation printer, embroidery machine, laser cutters, and more. Professor Wrbican’s class has been meeting at the MIX on Tuesdays to conduct their explorations.
