Get started with our video and photography equipment

The basic requirements to use the lighting equipment in the media lab is to take the Studio Lighting Workshop. Use of the Media Lab is space is first come, first served.

  • The Media Lab offers professional grade lighting equipment for use for your next project. Whether you are creating video content, doing a photo shoot, or experimenting in VR, the lighting offers flexible and powerful solutions.

  • Training is required before use of the media lab equipment. The Studio Lighting Workshop offers an overview of how to control and program the LED lighting fixtures.

    2 of these lighting fixtures are on rolling stands, allowing for custom setups. The other 5 lights are semi-permanently mounted to the grid for illuminating the green screen and providing backlight.
