Makerspace Workshops
Getting Started
We provide materials to get you started with our workshops. Our tools are free to use for members of the Mason community and we ask that you provide your own materials for your projects. We do have some materials on hand for use in limited quantities including:
PLA filament (limited 100g per print for student projects)
Scrap fabric, thread, and assorted donated sewing notions
Assorted craft supplies from donations
Cardboard for laser cutting and prototyping
Heat Transfer and Automotive Vinyl for workshop only
MIX Project Consulting
In addition to our workshops the MIX Maker Team is available to give you some extra assistance with your projects in 3D modeling, 3D printing, Arduino, prototyping, textiles, and more. Come by the MIX to meet with our staff members about your project.
